the relative scale of everything

This has been around for at least a year now, but it’s new to me and I love it – and so will fans of the short film Powers of 10. Universcale is a flash-based interactive website that allows you to zoom to the scale of an atom or go light years away to observe the galaxy, all the while giving you images of recognizable animals or structures for context. Educational and lots of fun, you can click on items for more information.
